Shurland Dale Holiday Park, on the Isle of Sheppey, is an ideal base for an idyllic family holiday as there are miles of sandy beaches and beautiful countryside all within close proximity to the park.

On the park there is plenty for all the family to do either together or on your own, why not splash around in the pool or play a few games on the sports field. For the kids there is the Sparky’s Krew kids club, amusement arcade and also an adventure playground too which will keep them occupied for hours. With Sports and Water Resorts programmes too there are plenty of organised activities throughout the week as well.

Other facilities on the park include a shop for all your daily essentials, launderette, café and takeaway bar where you can dine in or get a takeaway to take back and enjoy in your caravan.

In the early evening why not go for a stroll around the park to enjoy the views before returning to the Boathouse Tavern where you can play a few games of bingo, watch the live entertainment or maybe play a game or two of darts or pool.

Don’t forget to explore the local area too as you’ll be spoilt for choice as there are stately homes and magnificent gardens, places of historical interest and nature reserves all nearby.

On the Isle of Sheppey itself why not visit Minster Abbey where you can view the ancient monastic buildings and walk around the beautiful gardens or perhaps you would like to take a tour round the 22 acres at Biddenden Vineyards, Kent’s oldest vineyard, where you will get to see the presses, bottling and try some samples.
