Aschcroft Coast Holiday Park is located on the Isle of Sheppey, a small island just off the north coast of Kent, with miles of beautiful beaches and panoramic countryside to explore. The Isle of Sheppey is separated from the mainland by a channel known as The Swale and to get to the island you will need to cross the Sheppey Crossing Bridge.
There is plenty on the park for all the family to do day and night. There’s hours of fun to be had in the indoor and outdoor pools, an assortment of sports can be played in the all-weather sports area, there’s also kids’ club activities, the amusement arcade and adventure playground which all offer a variety of entertainment for all the family to enjoy. There’s so much choice, it will be hard deciding what you want to do.
Other facilities on the park include a launderette, takeaway food bar and the Waterside Tavern with its wide variety of activities laid on throughout the day and night for all the family to enjoy from karaoke to disco’s, cabaret or live shows.
Whilst you are staying at the park make sure that you take a trip to the popular seaside resort of Leysdown-on-Sea which is just 4 miles from the park with its miles of sandy beaches, traditional amusements as well as an assortment of pubs and restaurants. Every Sunday one of Kent’s largest markets is held in Leysdown so well worth a visit.
Back on mainland Kent you could take a trip to The Canterbury Tales which offers you a trip down memory lane to see what 14th Century Britain looked like and join Geoffrey Chaucer and his characters on their pilgrimage from London to Canterbury Cathedral.
