Situated close to Southminster, Steeple Bay Holiday Park is a water-lovers delight as it’s nestled amongst the creeks and inlets of the Blackwater River and has its own slipway into Mayland Creek. With views across to Osea Island, it truly is a spectacular place to come and stay as you can simply relax and watch the boats sail by.

On site there is a heated outside swimming pool and children’s paddling pool where you can watch the kids splash around whilst you enjoy the view from the sun terrace or else you can go down to the beach which is directly accessed from the park. With kid’s club activities, amusement arcade, sports field and adventure playground there is plenty of choice to keep the kids entertained throughout the day.

The parks other facilities include a café, family bar and entertainment venue where you can watch live music and shows during busier periods, an amusement arcade, a small shopping kiosk for your daily essentials and even a launderette.

During your stay why not take a trip to one of the many places nearby that are worth visiting such as Tropical Wings – World of Wildlife where you can join in one of the Animal Encounter sessions to learn about some of the animals on the park, visit the tropical butterfly houses, feed the wallabies and see bird of prey displays.

There’s too much to see and do to mention here so make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to see and do everything. Or if you like steam engines then Mangapps Railway Museum at nearby Burnham-on-Crouch is perfect for you as you can see displays from tickets, signs to trains and can even go on a passenger train ride.
