Coopers Beach Holiday Park offers you spectacular views from Mersea Island across the Blackwater estuary. With sandy beaches nearby and beautiful scenery surrounding the park this is a fantastic location for your family holiday.

If your children are water-babies then this park is ideal for them as there are loads of water-based activities available, there’s the Aqua Baby and Aqua Totz classes to improve water confidence, Aqua Mania for fun and games based in the pool, raft building where you have to compete against others to build a raft and complete the race, snorkelling and even Miami Beach Surf Rescue classes where you can have a go at using Jet Racers and Body Boards.

For those of you who prefer to stay dry, there are still plenty of other activities that you can do. The park has a Sports Resorts programme which includes 5-a-side football and multi-sports courts, tennis courts and adventure playground. There’s also the amusement arcade, dart boards and pool tables.

Other facilities on the park include a shop, launderette, Boathouse Café & Takeaway, Beachclub Adult Bar and Coastline Entertainment Centre with Boathouse Bar. Live entertainment from visiting stars/bands is held in the Coastline Entertainment Centre during peak weeks and Bank Holiday periods.

Whilst you are staying on the Island why not take a trip to Cudmore Grove Country Park with its views across the Colne and Blackwater estuaries. You can walk along the sea wall, explore the shore and watch for wildlife. Behind the sandy beach is an area of cliff top and grassland providing a tranquil open landscape for picnics, flying kites and other outdoor activities.
