If your children are water-babies then this park is ideal for them as there are loads of water-based activities available on the park. There’s the It’s a Knockout tournaments, WaterWalkerz which are a clear globe you get in and then walk around, use an Aquajet to explore underwater or maybe book in for one of the scuba diving sessions.

However, if you prefer to stay safely on dry land there is still plenty of other activities that you can do. There’s family rounders, mini-golf and even coaching sessions if you fancy trying a completely different sport such as Fencing or Archery.

Should you decide that you do not want to cook a meal whilst you are away on holiday then you will be spoilt for choice as the all-day menu at the Mash and Barrel Lounge-Bar-Café serves snacks and family meals including a carvery serving traditional roasts. You can even get takeaway Fish and Chips which certainly brings back memories of my stay at the seaside when I was younger.

The nearby busy resort of Weymouth, only two miles away, has plenty of bars and restaurants that overlook the harbour where you can sit and enjoy a meal and a drink whilst enjoying the views.

If you fancy trying something a little more high speed, why not take a speedboat ride round the harbour? Lodmoor Country Park which is just off the seafront is home to many attractions that are worth a visit such as Sealife Park and Marine Sanctuary, Pirate Adventure Golf and a miniature railway.
