Dawlish is a traditional seaside resort with everything you would expect including donkey rides on the beach. It also has its own Blue Flag beach which is less than a mile from the park, and a great place to 'while away' a sunny day.
Lady's mile itself is a great venue, particularly if you have children in tow. The pool has a 63m water flume with plunge pool, and a children’s adventure playground, and for the very young there is an indoor soft play area. There is a restaurant onsite, and with all the entertainment on offer and things to do, there's not really much need to leave the park, although that would be missing out on some of the best coastline in southern England.
