If you're looking to take a trip away from your caravan park, then take a look at some of the popular visitor attractions Cornwall has to offer.
The Eden is an incredible Bio Dome which houses several climate zones including a rainforest. The whole of the project is large enough to spend a whole day in as there is plenty to do and see there for both adults and children. For children in particular it is a great way to introduce them to the idea of the 'rest of the world'. They also hold events such as rock-climbing, so we do recommend you check out the website and find out what is on to help your visit be even more enjoyable.
Even if you are not by default a nature love, The Eden Project does have the effect of converting people as it introduces people to the natural world in a very focused educational way without preaching. Amenities for visitors are plentiful, and to make sure you make the most out of your visit please check out the website to help you plan what is likely to be one of the highlights of your stay in Cornwall. www.edenproject.com
Land's End is more than just a promenantary jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean at Britain's Southernmost tip - the views out to sea are spectacular. There are also plenty of other things to do in the area, including visiting galleries, boat trips, and an ice cream parlour and many others. For Doctor Who fans (of all ages) there is an exhibition, and there is also the multi-sensory theatre show - "Return to the Last Labyrinth". It would be a shame to stay in Cornwall without making a trip to such a famous destination. www.cornwall-online.co.uk
Tintagel Castle is at the centre of Arthurian legend, and is a place full of myth. But, there's more to it than the castle, the area is home to a wide array of wildlife and plant life. There is a Beach Cafe where you can have a relaxing break along a stunning coastline before getting yourself ready for a day of exploration in an area of stark natural beauty. Before going perhaps read up a little on the Legend of Tintagel, it will make you trip that little bit more rewarding, and please visit the website below for opening time so as to avoid disappointment. www.cata.co.uk
For those of you with an appreciation of the arts there is the Tate St Ives, the home of post war British Modernist Art. It's a great way to introduce yourself to forms of art that transcend traditional boundaries, and like it or not quite like it, you will definitely leave with a feeling that you have understood something about the modern artworld.
If the art is not to your taste, or the kids are kicking the exhibits, then there is a beach located just below the Gallery, and as it's right on the coast, good equability seafood is abundant in the area. www.tate.org.uk
